It feels really good to let things just flow

And be in great contact with my very soul

The powers within should not be without

For the mind can create a shadow of doubt

Let it all go and open your soul

Then in due time smiles unfold

There is something within us we truly do chersih

Hopes are inside our inner being don’t perish

Whether its love or bold inner faith

We’re trapped here inside this crazy ass race

Why must we stand as separate entities

Is it because of our life’s intensities

Calm your soul and clear your mind

And the answers of life will come in time

The doorway is waiting for you to be the key

So open your mind to what you wont see

Has a misty damp haze covered your eyes

Unveiling yourself with a destructive disguise

Be true to your soul and quiet your mind

Let all of life’s quests be a comforting rhyme

Believe in yourself and soon you shall see

Smiles to unfold and happy you’ll be

My name is josh,i'm a proud father of three wonderful children.I have a very artistic nature about me,a calm and peaceful person who enjoys the company of others.My poetic nature has been with me for as long as i can remember,life has many changes and i roll with them the best i can.I enjoy the outdoors and the ocean is my church :).Must be my Pisces nature.Hopeless romantic....that's me.I work in construction but my gift has been building spiral staircases out of exotic woods and have 15 years experience in just that,yes i do pride myself on it and i should its not easy my friend.Hobbies are reading,going to the gym,dancing,writing poems and many other stories,listening to music as long as it has some soul to it :),hiking,swimming,omg i could go on,you get the picture.my life saying and will always say and believe it is " there is nothing that can't be done".

    “Be true to your soul and quiet your mind” Two very good pieces of advice and very poetically presented. I can hear your voice in these lines and you speak with knowledge and conviction. Good work. :)

      thank you so much Melody,wouldn’t it be outstanding if you could submit poetry with a recording of your voice.How a poem is written is one thing but how the creator sings it with there soul,and dances with its essence is something else.
      love your poetry also you have a very passionate way with words.i read tinder and felt like i was in that room,very nice work keep it up :)
