Care none
For the world
But please
Care some for Me

I clutch
White knuckles
Of uncertain
For a story
That is yet
To be written

A novel of us
At first chapter
So much
For shreds of hope
Or happily
Ever after

I see your smile
Love me, love me not
I feel your touch
Bit of cold, bit of hot

I walk
Looking at strangers
Wondering
Who are you
By my side
A friend
A lover
Are there
Any other
A hint of knowing
Who we find

Care none
For the world
But please
Care some
To let me see

Some writings are solo efforts but the work you speak of here is definitely a collaboration. Nicely done!

    • Thank you Larry :)

I liked the sense of hopefulness and anticipation in this poem. Beautiful. Thanks.
