DreamDream me
An angel,
With solid halo

Ethereal beings
We always seek
Uplifting wings
We must crave
In the wind
Of uncertain
Our doubts
Slowly reek
Deep inside
We lay still
Stuck in the cave

Dream me
An angel,
To turn back
The hands of happen
One tragedy
Couple of mistakes
And a handful
Of dreams
Life
Is not
What it seems
You grasp what you get
You give and give
It takes
And takes
And takes

Dream me
An angel,
With solid halo

  1. Perhaps the intersecting lines of life and dreams spread wide in some cases and stay close in others. An angel on our shoulder to save ‘mistakes’ would be nice perhaps, but then how would we know what was a ‘mistake’ or another beginning? Just a thought.

  2. I think she’s out there both metaphorically and literally. :)

  3. What a lovely thought. Wish I could dream my own angel. After all, who wouldn’t want to have an angel in their corner? :)

Got something to say?
