Let’s get the hammer and smash the records
in our heads that have been so long replayed,
the worn grooves have become
an art form all their own.

Catharsis…

 

Let us instead re-write the lyrics

and sing from the top of our lungs

the song of self praise, redemption, justice and healing;
knowing that we are worthy…

Rejuvenation…

Let us sing the lullaby.
