Scarlett Saturated Gold

 

Orange is the color of my passion,

and it sets my soul on fire.

Bold, bright, and beautiful,

sometimes bordering on brash;

you cannot escape the heat this hue delivers.

Reds become more radiant when mixed

with autumn’s golds, and you can feel desire’s

embers smolder.

Blazing saffron is bewitching,

and I find myself beguiled

in my continual attempts to behold it’s glow.
