In the short days of winter

When the sun hides

Barely peeking out from behind

Any tree or building

I watch my cat Chloe

Chloe Waits For The Sun

Chloe not only knows where the sun is

But she knows where it will be

I’ve seen her sit in a shady corner

And I wondered why

A few minutes later she is bathed in sun light

Is that our lesson in patience

To sit still in the peace and quiet of a shadow

And the sun will come to you

Even knowing this

I wonder

Do I want to stop chasing the sun

I made it through college, started at Pace in New York, family seemed to think I needed a business degree. I didn't last long, two double periods of accounting a week and I was off to N.Y. U. To make a long story short ( too late for that) I graduated from UCLA and actually, my biggest kick out of that is just saying, especially here on the east coast UCLA, but I could care less, been in Boston since 1975, though I was coming for a year or so. A very good friend at the time, she said to me "Dan you'll never leave Boston" so dear Florida “Sun Spot Baby" you're down there, been in and out of radio, TV, acting and that's me in a nut shell.

Great story within a story, Dan. I hope we never stop chasing the sun as we move forward in life. Sometimes we just need to look a bit harder to see it behind the clouds.

Cher, Thank you, and you know my brain somewhat well enough by now to know there is always a story within a story within…And some see them some don’t and sometimes there is really nothing to see . For someone with your gifts (plural) it is such an honor to be appriciated.

Got something to say?
