Lonely Vigil DBSanders

My history is long too long to name

You cannot name time

And I have existed for all time

I have no typical religious beliefs

I belief in all things good and powerful

I believe in the universe and the sacredness of life

And as care taker of this small globe

I am obligated to right the wrongs I see

I have formed unions in the

Coal minds of Virginia and Kentucky

I opposed slavery in the south

And threw tea overboard in Boston

I marched with Martin Luther King

And died at Kent state

I burned my draft card at Whitehall station

And was chased and shot at through the streets of Chicago

I am a mother standing in front of the white house mourning

And protesting the death of a son

And asking why

I am occupy Wall Street

I have been around since time and I will not go away

I am called trouble maker

I am called resister

I am called protester

I call myself human

I made it through college, started at Pace in New York, family seemed to think I needed a business degree. I didn't last long, two double periods of accounting a week and I was off to N.Y. U. To make a long story short ( too late for that) I graduated from UCLA and actually, my biggest kick out of that is just saying, especially here on the east coast UCLA, but I could care less, been in Boston since 1975, though I was coming for a year or so. A very good friend at the time, she said to me "Dan you'll never leave Boston" so dear Florida “Sun Spot Baby" you're down there, been in and out of radio, TV, acting and that's me in a nut shell.
