What did I do?
I’m dressed up and ready
And waiting for you.

Where can you be?
I’ve chocolate and candy
And need you, you see.

Come to me now
I promise to show you
Anyway I know how

To love you and keep you
So happy for sure
I hope that you know
My intentions are pure.

    Pete, I hope I’m not reading Too much into the photo which accompanies this sweet valentine. But one cannot overlook the several glasses as evidence that you are imbibing spirituous liquors, young man. I fear, too, that the bandage upon your brow may perhaps not be the only sign of hard-living upon your body. Nor can one ignore the cigarette dangling from your slack lips, the evidence of deep dissolution in your half-lidded eyes. Altogether not a Pretty picture, for it belies the pretty sentiments which you have penned, sir! I fear that you have misrepresented your intentions to the young lady whom I can only term your intended victim! Beware, for I am watching you!
